Jeffrey Lash

The Aletsch glacier is the largest in the Alps, and is part of the Jungfrau-Aletsch-Bietschhorn Unesco World Heritage site. I rode the cable car from the village of Fiesch up to the Eggishorn (2926m), where I took this picture.

Today I hiked 14km from Noiraigue through the Creux du Van Reserve to Bevaix.  The Reserve protects the flora and fauna around the cirque – visible on map, lower left.  I’ve posted a few pictures here.
