During my fifteen minute walk back to my office from lunch at Wael’s, I found myself recalling  winter in Belgrade.  Why?  Today’s weather in Houston: 42 degrees, 85% humidity, north wind 14 mph, overcast.  Today’s forecast for Belgrade, Serbia: 43 degrees, 93% humidity, south wind 18mph, overcast.  Strange how the textures of place weave themselves into your life.
